1. Agreement
By using ROONA you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
2. Who can use ROONA
You must be at least 14 years old. If you’re under 18, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission.
3. What ROONA is
ROONA helps you find filming locations from Korean dramas. We gather location information from public sources, from what our contributors send us, and from our own research.
4. Your account
One account per person. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from Settings → Delete account, which removes your content permanently.
5. What you post
You keep ownership of your comments, photos, chat messages and location suggestions. By posting, you give us permission to display that content inside ROONA and to remove it if it breaks these terms.
By posting you confirm that the content is yours to post, that you took the photo, or have the right to use it.
Don’t post: anything unlawful; harassment, hate speech or threats; sexual content involving minors; spam or advertising; someone else’s personal information; content that impersonates another person; or photos you don’t have the right to share.
ROONA has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that breaks these rules is removed and the accounts responsible are suspended.
6. Moderation
We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms. Anyone can report content from inside the app, and we aim to review reports within 24 hours. Deleted content may persist briefly in backups.
7. Filming locations: please read this one
Most filming locations are real places where real people live and work.
- Some are private homes, private property, or working businesses.
- Where a listing says exterior only, please stay outside.
- Never trespass, never enter private property without permission, and don’t disturb residents, staff or customers.
- Businesses close, buildings are demolished, and access rules change. We can’t guarantee a location is still there or still open.
- Coordinates and addresses can be wrong. Check before you travel.
You visit these places at your own risk. ROONA is information, not permission, and not an invitation to enter anywhere.
8. Other people’s content
ROONA links to news articles on other websites. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for them.
Drama titles, actor names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners. ROONA claims no ownership of them and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any broadcaster, studio or production company.
9. The app is provided as-is
We work to keep ROONA accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its information is complete or current.
To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of ROONA. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using ROONA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and where the law requires it we’ll ask for your agreement first.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes fall to the courts of the Republic of Korea. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
